Click to read stories written by me!

I finally decided to print out all my stories from the link above. Yup, one of my hobbies is writing short stories. I fear forgetting the link of that website above thus losing the stories I have accumulated over the years. So I am going to link that website to this one- so I can read them when I have the time.

So what did I do on Friday? My trials. My debate trials. Actually you could trial for either Oratorical (Public Speaking) or Debates. I won some prizes for Public Speaking in Secondary school but the rebellious me decided to trial for debates instead. And I got in. The judges was some guy from RJC alumini (HOD of ELL), a female debater from Imperial College, and a quiet man I knew NOTHING about. (Didnt say a single thing to me from start of trial to the end)

So I had the choice of three motions, "The world needs a Global Policeman", "True Education requires Assessments" and err...I forgot the third one.

I chose the second one since I am a student after all. Presumably I would know more about whether there is need for assessments or not. I chose the Preposition. Which means I agree to the tests. Then I went to state this would force students to study for it which would mean they would which in turn means "True Education"...blah blah blah. For some weird reason, I wasnt really nervous.

You have shown flair and confidence. Though some points had really no link with the motion, you had a really unique point of view...blah blah blah...
Then- "So we would like to have you in Speaker's Ink."

So yeah, I got in. Heard from two girls CJC just lost to HCI that day of trials. But still our team had 2 national debaters and only 7 slots to fill. Coupled with the fact that CJC is an ELL school, Speaker 's Ink seems really elite. And there are two 7 pointers in this CCA. >.< AND this CCA had the best academic results on average in the A levels. So it's like once you join Speaker's Ink, you are the top 10% in the school in results.

I hope I dun disappoint.

I am now starting to stay back after school everyday to study. For the stuffs taught that day. H2 Maths is no joke, and neither are the H2 sciences. Infinite Binomial Series and all that. Still easy to cope though. I still fear the homework in the future. o.0

Now for randomsity: I searched my desk drawers for my extra sets of ear pieces and found my last year report card. Guilt. Guilt. Guilt. For not working harder. All my classmates are facebooking about their orientation in RJC/VJC. >.< This means I already feel the stress even in orientation- and because orientation is now over...
