CNY is for many teenagers, a fun-filled day of computer games and card games- not to mention visiting relatives that single time a year. But still that is for the majority- for those with more cousins than the number of fingers and toes one possess. For me, I have NO cousins in Singapore and this make my CNY a dull event. Thanks goodness, my cousins from the maternal side (Residing in Malaysia) are coming over today. Literally a godsend because we are REALLY close. ^^ *Anticipating countless games that we can play together* Counterstrike, for example?
Anyway, I am sure 2011 CNY is seen as a really long weekend and might be their favourite hoiday of the year. I also cant begrudge the fact that the dinner on New Year Eve rocks. Abalone? Check. Roasted Suckling Pig? Check. Roasted Chicken? Check. Roasted duck? Check. big pot of hot soup? Check. Steaming plate of vegetables/sea cucumbers/mushroom? Check.
*Licked lips* So as I am typing all these, I am waiting for two things today. The arrival of my cousins and competition results from Digital Life SG. Explanations in order. I need a mouse for my macbook, so I submitted a 150 words essay to Digital Life SG. There are 20 winners and only 83 contestants. So here's hoping I win a Microsoft Arc Touch mouse which is really REALLY cool.
